We are getting 11-14 eggs a day right now from the chickens and the ducks just started laying so I got 3 from 4 yesterday.

Steaming has also changed our lives, we hadn't had a hard boiled egg in years because I just gave up on them. Now we do it all the time.

I add sweet pickle relish to my deviled eggs. The shells slip off like a dream!

I've always had battered eggs that look like they just fought and lost a horrible battle against an army of pineapples. I always just cursed the pineapple horde and ate the defeated egg soldiers. Well no more! Now I eat victorious egg soldiers. :)

But really, you've changed the way I cook eggs. My dad and I adore them, so thank you from both of us! Btw I used a rice cooker to steam them.Amandanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-36288994598869188372015-04-19T13:56:52.729-04:002015-04-19T13:56:52.729-04:00You said it, Cat! yay! They are eating them. I have given them a reprieve by coating a hard boiled egg with English mustard and leaving in the nest box. Otherwise, we'll be eating chicken at the weekend...Had some quail eggs with dips at lunch time at a friends house today.
