We splashed around in the morning but during the worst of it we stayed in and I washed all the windows and sort of looked guiltily at my to-be-ironed pile. Now I gotta get my laundry in before the thunderstorms... goodness knows we could use the rain. It's been so dry and hot here the lawns are all brown - I've never seen that here before.Summersweet Farmhttp://twocatpots.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-48387392622214813092011-06-08T21:45:54.761-04:002011-06-08T21:45:54.761-04:00Similar weather over here in the Hoosier state. Weather radio went off with a clear blue sky outside, then 15 minutes later it stormed. Freaky stuff! Tomato blossoms can't be liking 90s any more than I do.Dave @ HappyAcreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03441364543023807886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-36072240394680581352011-06-08T20:15:30.071-04:002011-06-08T20:15:30.071-04:00Are the creepy meats like witches? We're expected to reach 100. I have 10 or so small cauliflower heads. I hope this heat doesn't ruin them. Your first pic of the front yard garden is beautiful. Rabbits just give up and lay on top of the frozen bottles and I rigged up a "wading pool" for the chickens using a great big lid from a tote bin. <br /> I do need to get fans for the whole gang - barn, chicken house and rabbit shelter.
