Yep folks dont know how much work is involved... and I dont think you can do this if you adhere to the culture's "worship of comfort." hot? too bad. cold? get out there. feet hurt? sorry - get out there and work work work.

but - it beats the business out of sitting at a desk. unless, its too hot and your feet hurt.
;-)Ohiofarmgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02606563929369721111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-16621961502491208942010-11-06T07:37:53.828-04:002010-11-06T07:37:53.828-04:00Yeah. And we don't have nearly as many animals as you do, either.Kristin @ Going Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00221544641416039741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-37012417348445807142010-10-31T12:42:47.938-04:002010-10-31T12:42:47.938-04:00Woah!! We don't have the animals (yet) for various technical reasons) but it's the life. Well done and thank you. :)Heikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17999245793961798308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-66262518578030047032010-10-29T17:05:47.220-04:002010-10-29T17:05:47.220-04:00Whoa there OFG...! Hmmmm...ok, but you'll have to come back in a few days.

See you next week on The Farm. And thanks for having me on your mind.Grandpahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250675550143944134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-63780019161471247352010-10-29T13:00:12.345-04:002010-10-29T13:00:12.345-04:00Shoveling out the kitchen, cats on the keyboard, c...Shoveling out the kitchen, cats on the keyboard, cabbages and pumpkins everywhere, and a whole heck of a lot of farm critters...I love it. I knew I made a great choice in picking you for this meme thing.:)

So, I think you stressed a very important point in all of this...animals, farming, and such is a lot of work. I see so many people talk dreamy like about growing food and raising a barn full of critters. It's a serious commitment and one that you kinda got to like doing or else you will most certainly be doomed to fail at it.

The two of you are pretty darn cool and seem to lead an "extremely" busy yet full-filled life. Who needs the so called "system" when you can make your own...you know.

Thanks so much for doing this post! We sat here early this morning and had a great time reading through it and all of your links.

By the way, the end of the "The Chronicles of Riddick" almost made me cry too...well not really but I sure liked both films and am looking forward to the third.:)Mr. H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04576034751522467377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789865586418282697.post-33686081389177072532010-10-29T08:36:51.888-04:002010-10-29T08:36:51.888-04:00Thanks for sharing! Thanks for sharing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
