That's what my potatoes look like too! I just filled in their beds a little yesterday and need to top with more straw.
I have brassicas like broccoli and cabbage growing, onions, and carrots. Just set out some tomatoes and peppers yesterday, frost-free date be damned.
How long does it take for potatoes to get leaves? I planted mine a week ago or so. I started radishes, too, but also around a week ago, so they are much smaller.
I have a lot of tomatoes, some cucumbers and beans.
And hi! I'm Natasha, also from Ohio. I've enjoyed reading your adventures! On a side note, I have also bought from Springhill Farm. We've tried the sausage, so far (delicious) and I just ordered chickens because we aren't ready to add chickens to our menagerie just yet (I have an 11 month old and I'm approximately a month away from having my second child). I hope we can add them in a year or two.
Our potato's are looking about the same as yours. Love seeing them pop through. The beets are coming on great as well. :) So far...success!!

I'm waiting on my lettuces, flat leaf Italian parsley & radishes. I started some babies of swiss chard, & collard greens. Summer garden coming soon!
If you plant vegetables when the ground is still frozen do you get frozen veggies? You know, like the ones in the store?

This is only the second year we've tried potatoes and they look MUCH better this year! Also have some lettuce, spinach, broccoli, onions and carrots in the garden and some peppers and tomatoes starting in the greenhouse!

hi Wildcard! thanks for reading :-D so these taters went in the ground about 2 weeks ago. i have them heavily strawed in so i just noticed that they were popping up. and i'm so glad you are a Springhill customer! dont you love their products?
