Great googley-moogley! We got a new gal on the dairy team - she came with fancy papers and an even fancier name. We're just gonna call her "Sunny." The only problem is....
We're gonna need a bigger bucket.
Holy bustin' udder, Batman! She milked almost a gallon this morning and shes only been "fresh" for about a week. All I can think about is cheese.....
Happy Sunday everyone!

My, with all the cheese you are going to be eating your Jaws are going to get tired.
Nubian?
I bet that old girl is waiting on the milking stand for you morning and night! Wow
WOW!!!
WOW! she looks like she is in real pain with those tits!
A gallon of milk is a lot for one little goat isn't it?
She could have triplets and feed them well. :o) your getting a lot of experience being a farm girl :o) better than being behind a desk eh! :o)
Cool! I hope that is what my Nubian looks like in a couple weeks!
Not to worry, I will have her milked in less than 7 minutes, but you have to split the milk with me. :)
WOW! I have udder envy :)
Wow!! I can't wait until you show us more of her!
That is one big udder. I have the feeling she is giving Vita a run for her money!
Holy smokes!! Good luck fitting a bucket under that udder!
Googley, moogley! I think that's where Google gets its name from!
Yes, that bucket there is waay too small. I feel more cheese coming!
Have a good week ahead pal.
Oh my Goodness! Poor girl, I bet she felt beter when she was milked out.
Do you have the baby one her? We're looking into a dairy nanny or two to fill in between our cow freshening and drying off. I miss the yogurt, cheeses and icecream when the cow is dry.
We're looking into Toggenburgs, or Sanaans.
Blessings,
Kelle
WOWZA
Gorgeous Udder but what about her face?
Want to know what breed she is :)
It's an udder on legs!
Oh my!!! That looks like it hurts!!
Seriously jealous :).
That is CRAZY!!! How much do you think she will be producing in another week or two?
I know, everyone, can you believe it! And I guess I should have said in the post - she's a La Mancha (full size of course).
CC - the breeder specializes in ginormous sized goats. He has one that looks like a giraffe, she's so tall.
Lori - she waddles right up to the stand.
BFMC - Makes you want to salute her, doesn't it?
Hi Ginny! She's very excited to be milked and stands there so gently you can't believe it. It only takes a few mins to milk her! And yep, this is better than being at a desk!
Linda - hope so also! Remember that your gal will "ramp up" so don't be disappointed if she doesnt fill the bucket the first week or so.
hey MP! Actually she milks in like 3 mins! But come on by and I'll getcha some milk to take home.
Wendy - she's amazing isnt she?
Hey there, Hey There! Its a balance of getting a big enough bucket and one that will still wedge under her!
Thanks Grandpa, we are off to a good start. So far, so good! Have a glorious day!
Hi Kelle! Can you believe she lets all the babies (not hers!) nurse off her!!?? Even Nibble's tiny babies run right to her for sips. She's like a big ol' Grandma.
Naomi - I totally forgot about the breed! Hee hee hee I was so excited about "the business end." As above - she's a La Mancha.
Heiko! Brother! Good to see you, man. I freaked someone out today when I said I was going to have "chocolate goat milk" - I think they thought it came out that way. ha!
Hi Robin! She's glad when I'm done, for sure.
Hi Nancy! We are still in shock.. I think we got the best one.
Hey Kenleigh! She's at a little over a gallon and half a day (she milks less in the evening) so I'm guessing she may do 2 gallons a day. To put that in perspective, I have a buddy who's cow milks 3 gallons a day - on just grass so thats low for a cow but still! Wow!
Shucks, Did you miss my "Jaws" comment?
Waiting to see a full sized shot of the new milking queen.
Chai Chai - I just spit apple all over my keyboard.. YES I did miss it.. and ahem.... for all the folks that missed it:

hee hee hee hee hee I tried to work in something from a Riddick movie and it just didnt' work.
;-)
Baby you make me smile every darn day! Thanks!
How do you do it? So many things to do with all those animals...amazing. Your new bow legged goat looks as though she is about to burst...please be careful under there...ha ha. We have been trading root veggies for goat cheese with a neighbor lady...I'm in heaven.
Hope you enjoyed the dance show. We will be watching it soon...I better drink a couple beers in preparation.:)
oh my goodness not famaliar with milking cows but I can say that wow that is a full bag for sure
Man oh man! That is some set! Our first doelings were born yesterday and moma goat is filling up nicely, but now where near as big as them tit-anics! (sorry, couldn't resist that one!)
In other news, I bought some oil for the cream separator today... time to fire it up in a few weeks and see what that baby can do!
Mr. H, how do I do it? Hard work, determination, and foolishness...and a lot of tequila
;-)
Hi shoppannies! Can you believe its not a cow but a goat!!? She's as big as a cow tho
:-)
Leon, you TOTALLY win with "tit-anics!"!!! Great joke! And you have a cream separator!?!? Lucky you!
Awesome, you really got your money's worth on that gal!
