Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

Beez - they made it!

From yesterday, before all the action with Nibbles and her babies.... the beez made it thru the winter!

The front hive - looks like everyone is as busy as...well.. beez!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I was wondering how your bees would fare during the Winter. Happy they didn't suffer from the dying hive syndrome that has been plaguing other colonies across the US.

Can't ... wait ... for ... cute ... baby ... goat ... pictures!!!

Isn't that such a wonderful sign? I am really looking forward to starting again with a couple of hives in the next couple of months.

Sounds like things are good in The Good Land :) I bet those skip poppers are keeping you plenty entertained.

It's so fun to see them buzzing around, isn't it? Like a great big "Whew!" I attached my feeder today so they can get busy making brood for the nectar flow next month.
