Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

Spring poppin' on Farm Friends Friday!

There is just too much cuteness going on out there...

... I can barely contain it...

... so much runnin' and hoppin' and springin' about.... What can I say - baby goats are adorable!

Everyone loves them but Nibbles....

...and Kai thinks they look delicious.

really, really delicious....

That's the word here on this Farm Friends Friday! Cute goats and lots of running around.

Hope everyone had a great week!

GW - May will be here before you know it. Then you'll have your hands full...of udder! Milking that is!

Thanks Joani! Those little ones have been flying around out there. My pal Java calls it a "rodeo" hee hee hee.

They are pretty good at snuggling, Contadina..and they are really soft.

We have chickens everywhere, Ginny! Hee hee hee... and thanks, its a pretty good life.

Hi Buttons! Glad to see you. When Nibbles pops we are going to be over run! Debbie already has her little ones running around - with the next batch it will be epic (as Charlie Sheen would say ha!)

The kids are just adorable! They remind me of lambs we would have at the farm. They would run around and play the same way!

Went last Fri. to talk to some people about goats and look at what they had set up for shelters. Deanna even tried her hand at milking and the girls got their first taste of goat milk. Started building when we got home. Hoping to find a milker for sale so we don't have to wait a year for milk.
