Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

We're so jealous! We have to buy our bacon from a farmer we trust, who happens to live in Northern Pennsylvania; but we're in southern, Pennsylvania. You can see our dilemma.

Hi Ginny! They look delicious don't they!? I love me some bacon too - lots and lots of bacon.

Jody, that is a dilemma! We love real bacon - some made by us and some made by our favorite butcher.

David - yummmmmmmmm... just think of all the things you could make in your smoker!

Robin - the hatin' is easy. And they don't stay little long. They are pretty funny tho.

Whoooot! Yay Amanda! You said it....Go Bacon!

Wouldn't it be nice if you could get the entire pig in bacon?

Bacon...it's what's for breakfast / lunch / snack / dinner / dessert!

I agree - I want the whole pig turned into bacon ;) What breed are they? We had some yummy pork chops from our pigs last night for dinner - love it! We are already planning on getting more in the fall.
