One big pair of pears
Now I just gotta figure out how to get these big pears out of the tree. We didn't get the big frost/freeze here last nite but it was close. I'm going to see if I can pick these big pears without falling off a ladder or requiring medical attention. I might employ the barncats.....
Happy Monday everyone!

I got one of these years ago and put it on a long bamboo pole. It is great!

OFG realizes that she may not be mature enough to answer the question as posed....snicker* Dave, I'll hang the pancetta to cure for about 5-7 days.. if it were rolled it would need about 2 weeks.

Some day the apple trees I planted here will bare fruit (ha!), until them I can only read your post with longing.
OFG, you really need a pear-picker (on a pole). See my photo and blog post from July 2011.
We did get a freeze. Nice pair, uh, pear, but isn't one bigger than the other? Oh well symmetry is over rated. ;)
Thanks Free! but ha! i used one once...and gave myself a black eye! ha ha ha ha.
Yes, Chai Chai, you caught me. My inspiration is 4th grade boy humor. And Dave. *snort*
Hi Ken! Great to see you. And please meet Freemotion (above) - great minds think alike! But sadly I'm a menace with any kind of technology...hee hee hee.
Aint that right, brother. *OFG shakes her trouser leg, for no reason.* HA!
