Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

Got sloth?

Seein' as its Sunday I have some confessing to do, friends. I've got a powerful case of sloth.

What sloth looks like.

I won't add to my list of sins by saying this was today and I was merely observing the Sabbath. It was yesterday. Honestly, it looks a lot like the day before also. Tomorrow looks to be more of the same.

I've got sloth, yes I do. I've go sloth, how about you?

Nice socks.

Slothing's not a sin, it's recreation.

Me? I'm trying to enjoy the good life again, thanks to your good wishes OFG.

That is a nice looking roaring fire you got going there, someone is hauling some wood......

Yep, I've got it too!

That looks nice to warm your feet by the fire. I don't have sloth mainly because dh is too busy and I feel guilty not helping. Tree pruning and hauling it to the brush pile, building the buck pen and all the early year yard work. However I have to say I love it out there and couldn't be happier.

hi NancyDe! Pull up a chair and "ponder" all you want!

Thanks, Grandpa! Good to see you out and about.

I'm sure, Mr. H., you never have this sloth.. or are you asleep by the fire?

Hi Kris! Wonderful to see you! Say if I ever get out of this sloth can I come on by and you can make me that Tater Tot Skillet breakfast?

Hello Ginny! I hope spring is the cure.. then I won't have time for all this sitting around.

You said it, CC! Nothing like having a big whack of wood and nowhere to go. How low will your temps go tonite? We are already below 0*

I think its caused by our lovely gardens being smothered in snow, Robin.

Fortunately for me, Amanda, my hubby has it too...

No sloth here!
Seed trays are ready, seeds too, and we are all looking at the calendar (patience in not my strong point).

Right now all I want to do is SLEEP.

Sooo happy that my parents are back tonight so I don't have to do it all - then I'm going to sleep.
