Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

Medieval Life - how fun is this?

Has everyone seen "Christina: A Medieval Life" from BBC? Wow... I'm totally sucked in. I gotta watch the rest of it.

The other thing I'm excited about is the online version of Our Farm Of Four Acres and The Money We Made By it by Miss Coulton.  Thanks to PeterPansDad or the suggestion!

These should keep me entertained as this cold weather comes in. How about you - whatcha reading or watching?

Happy Thursday!

Excellent, I look forward to watching the videos and reading the eBook. I'm taking a slight break from reality and reading Atlas Shrugged, it has been collecting dust on my bookshelf for several years now so I thought I had better read the darn thing...not sure what I think about it yet. I'm also reading a small but fascinating little book called Farming With Nature by Joseph Cocannouer.

I'm 13 minutes into the video...looks like a good one.:)

Hi Tami! Dontcha just love the recreations?

Yep, Beth, and I saw a few more things I'm gonna check out.

Mr. H, i lol'd. my hubby has been trying to finish that Atlas book for a couple years. after a while he just gets mad and puts it down. As for me.. if it doenst have sword fighting, running battles, or the possibility of marching on Rome... I'm just not interested. I'm sure Atlas shrugged and it all worked out. But Attila is about to cross the Danube and I gotta get in on that action. ps i always secretly saw myself as riding with the Huns.
;-)

Cindy that is HILARIOUS. thanks for sharing.. passing it long. yay!

I almost picked up "I Am a Barbarian" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, also gathering dust on the same shelf...It's a really good one if you ever get a chance to read it.
