Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

This is why we can't have nice things!

You may be wondering why the walls in the dog area are always dirty... this is why...

Zander likes to arrange himself in silly poses - usually with his huge paws on the walls. He does it all the time. None of the other dogs have ever done this. Leave it to The Bubby....

This is why we can't have nice things. We love him so much.

Happy Friday everyone!

Hey, my walls look like that, too! And there's that one spot on the corner trim where my border collie got bored...

I just love those babies of yours!

Off topic - I just want to thank you for giving me a kick in the tush to look into Cup of Joe. I've have been having a blast donating because I get back the most warm and heartfelt notes from the troupes. Most bring tears - but that's just me. Have you seen that they will send you a challenge coin for every $40 you donate? So cool! I better not carry on any more as this is starting to sound like spam. But I had to let you know how much I enjoy COJ ALL thanks to you.

Now back to the bubby.

Yep, I routinely have to go around the house scrubbing walls, door frames, cabinets at about 15 inches up from the floor.

I love my furkids too. Even if they are messy, dirty and why we can't have nice things either.

I always had a dirty hall wall from my one dog. I just wiped it down once in a while :) Ah dogs, gotta love em...
