Ohiofarmgirl's Adventures in The Good Land is largely a fish out of water tale about how I eventually found my footing on a small farm in an Amish town. We are a mostly organic, somewhat self sufficient, sustainable farm in Ohio. There's action and adventure and I'll always tell you the truth about farming.

Farm Food Photo Bomb

What happens when I try and take artsy shots of farm food....

The Bubby photo bombs with his big head.

This is what I was trying to show all y'all... my late lunch the other day. Yeah I had pork chops,  green beans (fried with bacon), grilled peppers, and a shot of fresh goat cheese. It was awesome.

Happy Saturday afternoon - are you grillin'?

No. Cheese on toast for us because I am still busy canning!

The awesomeness is due to the fact that it is mostly homegrown!

We grilled tonight. I basted some of the leftover juice from canning your candied jalepenos. I think it shoulda marinated a while. Just basting got a little sweetness on it, but not much heat. I hope those candied jalepenos are gooood. I may have just used the last 3 pounds from the garden to make them. We'll have to see how much more they produce.
