I'd say that the breeding thing went well for Nibbles. She's already lookin' pretty large.
If Nibs is gonna just keep getting biggerI might just have to send her to Weight Watchers. This is ridiculous!
Is everyone's goats all puffed up for the winter? Happy Monday everyone!

Juliet, our Lamancha yearling is FAT! She was just bred earlier this month. Hoping for some nice sunny weather so she can get out and run off some chub before she gets too far into her pregnancy. 5 Babies! That is insane! I will be quite happy with one or two lil earless alien goats in the spring.
Maybe she has a dozen in there....
Yep, she looks like she may be in the family way, or else has found a BIG haybale stashed away somewhere.
I kept thinking of your blog posts as I have borrowed a buck for my 2 girls. His name in honor of your blog is "Hope I'm Tall Enough". We will be so sad if we rename him "Too Short". Don't know if it worked yet or not!
hey MGF! heh heh heh.. I think Juliet will just keep on chubbin' up! Is she a mini? or full sized? Here's hoping for a reasonable number of babies for her!
Free - stop! *thud*
Ian, I've long since suspected that Nibs can actually drive and at nite she takes my truck to Burger King.
Ha! Ann, thats hilarious! Hope we can name him "Got the job done!"
How long is goaty gestation?
hey Dave! for Nibs and the mini-crew is like 145 days - a little longer for the full sized gals. so basically about 5 months. i still have to do my due date calculations. but you know Nibs - she's always faking it until I'm completely not ready to deal with it.
